On Sunday 26 April 2026, the Fédération Française des Véhicules d’Époque (FFVE) is hosting the 10th edition of the Journée Nationale des Véhicules d’Époque (JNVE – National Day of Vintage Vehicles), a must-attend event for all classic car enthusiasts.

In 2026, as with every edition, Rétromobile will host one of the most eagerly awaited auctions for collectors of exceptional vehicles. At Rétromobile, passion for mechanics goes far beyond bodywork. It is in this spirit that TIME ON SHOW returns to Rétromobile 2026, for the second consecutive year.

In partnership with the society ‘Les Epicuriens’, Rétromobile plunges visitors into the world of Steve McQueen and reveals the Hollywood film star’s all-consuming passion for the motorbikes and sports cars of his era, all staged in a setting evoking scenes from his films.

For its 50th edition, and for the first time in its history, Rétromobile is honoured to receive the high patronage of the French Ministry of Culture. This distinction confirms the major role played by the show in promoting a unique automotive heritage, a true cultural asset for France, recognised both nationally and internationally.

In celebration of its 50th anniversary and as a nod to its origins, Rétromobile pays tribute to the genius of Ettore Bugatti by showcasing one of the Italian inventor's lesser-known creations: the Presidential Railcar. Alongside it, 7 other mechanical oddities will highlight the craftsmanship and avant-garde vision of the artist-engineer.
