Rallye du Coeur 2022 to benefit the association Imagine For Margo
The Rallye du Coeur is a gathering of beautiful cars, created in 2017, to make a contribution to the fight against childhood cancer. Retromobile invites you to join us on June 18 in the park of the castle of Dampierre for a day under the sign of solidarity. As last year, our crew will be driving a Toyota HJ 61 from 1989 and will be wearing the number 046.

Toyota HJ61 garée devant une haie

The 1989 Toyota HJ61 honoured for the Rallye du Coeur:

Toyota's history will always be closely linked to the concept of the off-road vehicle. It all began in 1951 with the production of the FJ 4x4, which was based on the Jeep Willys. Its 6-cylinder petrol engine made it an efficient off-roader. In 1960 the long career of the BJ 40 began with its 3 litre 4 cylinder diesel engine mounted on a virtually indestructible chassis. It was to be the inseparable companion of adventurers at the end of the world. The 6 series began production in 1980 with the HJ 60. Its spacious bodywork and large glass surfaces make it a wonderful vessel for long journeys off the beaten track. Today the Land Cruiser is still produced by Toyota.

The model presented is a 1989 HJ 61 which is completely original, its large 4.2 litre 6 cylinder turbo diesel engine develops truck-like torque. The mechanical design is simple and has no electronics, which makes it a very efficient machine. It has covered barely 200,000 km in its 32 years. A former mechanic who spent his career at Toyota tells us that he never opened the engines before 600,000 km. Its owner will be proud to take part in the Rallye du Coeur in this historic vehicle.

This year, all donations collected by our crew will be donated to Imagine For Margo, an association that raises funds for research into children's cancer.

TO SUPPORT OUR COMMITMENT, MAKE A DONATION ON OUR CAGNOTE.

100% of the donations collected are directly transferred to the Imagine for Margo association, to finance research programmes (Institut Curie & Institut Gustave Roussy).
