Le Musée des Blindés de Saumur and its team will present the l’AMX 10 PAC 90 de 1979. This high-performance French armoured vehicle was equipped with a formidable high-speed anti-tank gun that fired hollow charge projectiles at a speed of 1,000 m per second. Visitors will be able to witness the incredible mobility of this tank during live demonstration on the pavilion 7.2 terrace.

A genuine crowd-puller for all enthusiasts, the live demonstrations of century-old cars organised by the Club des Teufteuf will be held this year on the Pavilion 7.3 car park. This privileged and magical moment allows young and old alike to climb into cars that are more than a hundred years old and to realise that these mechanical great-grandmothers are still just as hardy. This year, the Darracq make will be in the spotlight, with a presentation of 5 vehicles which will be accompanied by an Alcyon and a Salmson cyclecar.

The TRIDIM of Jean Bertin
Fifty years ago, the engineer Jean Bertin and his team designed the concept of a light, simple, cost-efficient and fully automatic public transport vehicle: the TRIDIM. The prototype, presented in the form of a small cabin made from aluminium and composite materials, holds four passengers. This small vehicle is entirely automatic and travels at speed along a narrow track – all at negligeable construction and maintenance costs. On display at Retromobile, this system will be demonstrated live constantly throughout the show in pavilion 7.3, stand A 009.
