FLYING FINNS

The FLYING FINNS pays tribute to these intrepid Finnish pilots who were named the “Flying Finns”. For decades, these drivers raced in the world rally championship, imposing a spectacular new driving style while sliding and introducing the technique of left-foot braking. There were 14 of them to win at least one world round, and their first names appear on the dial of the FLYING FINNS. The colors of this dial are inspired by those of the Lancias of this era, at the wheel of which Markku Alen and Henri Toivonen stood out in particular.
