A forerunner in his field, Jean-Pierre Osenat set up a Collectors' Car department within his firm in 1977. With over forty years' experience in the field, Osenat has built up a solid reputation among collectors. Today, the Bellifontaine firm is one of France's top three car auction houses. Representing a major part of the company's business, Osenat's Automobile department is one of the firm's spearheads. Director of the Collector Cars department for over twenty years, and a member of the board of the Fédération Française des Véhicules d'Epoque, Stéphane Pavot has built up a wealth of knowledge and an extensive network in the world of classic cars. With a vast network of the greatest collectors in France and Europe, in contact with the most renowned automobile clubs and historians, Bellifontaine is able to deal with cars of all styles and periods, without ever forgetting the ancestors, the company's real speciality. Jean-Pierre Osenat, himself a collector, Chevalier des Arts & Lettres, Chevalier de l'Ordre National du Mérite, and President of the Syndicat des Commissaires-priseurs (SYMEV), maintains an important place in the world of classic cars through his membership of numerous clubs, including the Automobile Club de France. With between eight and twelve sales a year, the Osenat Automobiles team keeps abreast of market trends on a daily basis. Above all, the Osenat Automobiles de Collection department is made up of a team of enthusiasts from diverse backgrounds whose sole aim is to make a living from their passion.
