Even as a young child, Alain Bertrand showed a real talent for drawing and also the will to be different. When he was a teenager, circumstances caused him to discover the America of the 1960s, a symbol of optimism, modernity and freedom. These enriching experiences and emotions would fashion his whole existence and guide his life choices and his career.
Having become a well-known illustrator, he decided to follow his dreams and devote himself to his paintings and exhibitions.
Thus, for the last twenty years, this rock ’n’ roll fanatic has enchanted us with all the different aspects of his culture of those halcyon years starting with the motor car and a lot more thanks to his brio, his prolific output, his curiosity and his open mind. Alain Bertrand’s childhood dream was to become an artist and he has fulfilled it!
