The work done by the Sant’Agata-based manufacturer's restoration department is showcased by several Miuras at the show.

Preserve and promote Lamborghini's heritage – that's the raison d'être of the “Polo Storico” department. Its brief is extremely wide. In addition to partially or completely restoring its older models – everything from the 350 GT to the Diabolo – it sells spare parts and offers a certification and authentication service. It also promotes activities at shows and events, as well as actually organising events. As such, every year in September, the manufacturer holds the "Lamborghini & Design” elegance contest. Last year, 36 Lamborghinis took part in it. To ensure that as many vehicles are kept on the road as possible, the Polo Storico department has committed to a major spare parts reconstruction process. The number of parts it keeps is constantly growing. This ensures authenticity and guarantees that only original components are used.

The Miuras that the Polo Storico department is showing at Rétromobile have been restored by specialist engineers and mechanics in accordance with standard practice and to original specifications, in compliance with a strict validation process. Modern tools are used to ensure a high level of quality.
